Emotional regulation is the ability to exert control over one's own emotional state. Many children struggle with being able to appropriately match their responses to the way that they are feeling. This session will focus on teaching children how to identify emotional triggers, name their strong feelings, and use strategies to manage. The session will also touch on co-regulation.
